Hi, I’m Sandy, the witch behind Heka Divine -- a little online corner of magic, intention, and whimsy. 🌙 I’ve always been drawn to the unseen: the quiet power of herbs, the pull of the moon, and the rituals that help us reconnect to ourselves. Heka Divine: More Than a Witchy Shop

The name “Heka Divine” comes from Heka, the ancient Egyptian word for magic itself. Heka was understood as the life force that flows through the universe—magic as a natural part of life, not something separate or mysterious. I love this connection because it reminds us that magic is for everyday living, not just ritual or show.

While Heka is the foundation, I have also started my work with Hekate, the Greek goddess of crossroads, liminal spaces, and moonlit wisdom. She guides shadow work, intuition, and personal transformation. Some people get confused and ask where our name comes from --  Heka or Hekate? But in Heka Divine, they complement each other: one is the magic itself, the other a guide for wielding it with intention.
